Özet

Abstract - Clinical education is an important part of nursing education as theoretical parts. The design of this education depends on the course objectives as well as nursing education’ objectives. To be able to organize effective and efficient clinical education nursing schools needs to collaborate with health care institutions from beginning to the end of the programme. This collaboration should include organization of basic necessities of clinical education such as timetable, organization of appropriate clinical wards, physical environment, selection of health care professional for working with students, etc. When organization and collaborations between this two institutions failed then quality of clinical education decrease. Difficulties in less chance to work with professionals, not able to have enough materials, not able to reach out for help, facing the patients’ safety issues, etc. In order to ensure mutual cooperation, planning of clinical education should start from the beginning to the end of the programme. In this review, it is aimed to analyze the collaboration between nursing schools and healthcare institutions. Keywords; Nursing students; School hospital collaboration; Clinical practice; Nurse .
