Özet
Recently, Orthogonal Time Frequency and Space with Index Modulation (OTFS-IM) has gained attention as a promising solution for high-mobility wireless communications, due to its resilience to Doppler effects and enhanced spectral efficiency. While conventional greedy detection (CGD) and optimized greedy detection (OGD) schemes reduce complexity, they often suffer from performance degradation due to invalid subcarrier activation patterns. In this letter, we propose an Enhanced Greedy Detection (EGD) scheme that further optimizes subcarrier index detection by dynamically splitting OTFS-IM blocks into smaller mini-subblocks. Unlike existing approaches, the proposed EGD ensures valid index combinations while significantly reducing computational complexity. To assess performance, the Total Symbol Error Probability (TSEP) is theoretically derived for EGD, and simulation results confirm its superiority compared to both CGD and OGD. Results show that the proposed detector achieves better error performance with lower complexity, making it a practical solution for next-generation OTFS-IM systems.
