Özet

Background and Purpose: Previous studies have demostrated the presence of complex alterations in the activities of antioxidant enzymes in the brain tissue samples obtained from postmortem patients with Parkinson's disease. Because oxygen radicals are generally believed to play a role in brain tissue injury in Parkinson's disease we wanted to examine the oxidative effects of those radicals in the erythrocytes and plasma of patients with Parkinson's disease.
