Özet
This study investigates the solvent-dependent electrochemical performance of molybdate-based electrodes (CoMoO4, NiMoO4, and CuMoO4) for high-performance supercapacitors. Electrodes were prepared using different solvent systems, namely dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), to evaluate the influence of the preparation media on their structural and electrochemical properties. CoMoO4 demonstrated enhanced surface activity in DMSO, providing a larger electroactive area and improved energy storage capacity. NiMoO4 exhibited superior electrical conductivity and specific capacitance, with notable solvent-dependent variations that significantly affected its charge transport and cycling stability. CuMoO4 showed excellent capacitance retention and rapid charge–discharge behavior, particularly when synthesized in NMP, highlighting the solvent's role in optimizing ion transport pathways. A comparative analysis confirmed that solvent selection strongly influences electrode performance, thereby offering an effective strategy to tailor energy and power density in supercapacitor applications. These findings underscore the potential of solvent engineering in advancing sustainable and efficient energy storage technologies.
