Some Physical-mechanical Properties of Briquettes made from Maize Stalk Agri Residues, Aydın, Türkiye, 20 - 22 Mayıs 2021, cilt.1, ss.57
Compaction technologies have been used long time leather. But the best-known compaction
technologies is included briquetting. This article explains how the use of maize stalk waste
briquettes. The materials were dried up to 8 – 10% moisture content (M10) and they were
grinded into (2-5) - (7-10) mm size. The study is done with a newly developed hydraulic press
for briquetting. Grinded maize stalks were pressed under 80 MPa. The objective of the present
study is to give theoretical analyses of parameters which have an impact on briquette quality.
The physical-mechanical properties of the briquettes are then provided
