Around 4-5% of all patients with malignancy present with metastasis of unknown origin; the group of patients who have hemorrhagic metastases particularly involve malignant melanoma, renal cell carcinoma and choriocarcinoma. A case of malignant melanoma with disseminated hemorrhagic metastases to the brain, ovary and both breasts was presented. The literature was reviewed in relation to clinical, radiologic, histopathologic and immunohistochemical findings.
