Özet

One of the main drawback of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signal. Partial transmit sequences (PTS) is a distortionless and attractive PAPR reduction technique. However, optimal PTS requires an exhaustive search to find optimal phase factors. In this paper, PTS based on parallel ant colony optimization (Parallel-ACO) method is proposed to reduce the PAPR with low search complexity. Parallel-ACO is compared to different PTS schemes, including artificial bee colony (ABC), parallel tabu search (Parallel-TS) and conventional PTS for PAPR reduction and search complexity performances. The proposed Parallel-ACO scheme obtains enhanced PAPR reduction performance with low computational complexity.
