Concentrations of lead, chromium, cobalt and molybdenum in the hair of 37 (15 male + 22 female) of diabetic patients were determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer. The mean concentrations of Pb, Cr, Co and Mo was found to be 7.52 mu g/g, 0.84 mu g/g, 0.13 mu g/g and 0.43 mu g/g respectively. No significant correlation was found; between these metal ions concentrations.
