Abstract

In the nonplanar title compound, C18H14O4, the dihedral angle between the isochromene and benzene ring systems is 83.32(6)degrees. The crystal structure is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions, the latter resulting in centrosymmetric dimers.
