Diş hekimliği, nanobiyoteknolojinin faydalı sonuçlar üretmek için birçok şekilde yankı bulduğu bir sağlık hizmeti dalıdır. Nano diş hekimliği alanında kullanım için nanopartikül seçerken, nano yapıların kimyasal, fiziksel ve biyolojik yönleri dikkate alınır. Bu bölümde, nanoteknolojinin diş hekimliğindeki mevcut durumu, nanomateryallerin sınıflandırılması ve potansiyel uygulamaları ele alınmıştır.
Nanotechnology is a branch of science that deals with the design and application of materials and devices at the nanometer scale. Dentistry is a branch of healthcare where nanobiotechnology has found resonance in many ways to produce beneficial results. When selecting nanoparticles for use in nanodentistry, chemical, physical, and biological aspects of nanostructures are taken into consideration. In this section, the current status of nanotechnology in dentistry, the classification of nanomaterials and their potential applications are discussed.
