“I IMAGINE... ” POSTER DESIGN EXHIBITION
International Fine Arts and Printing Conference be held in Dubai from the popular cities of the United Arab Emirates on February 2-3, 2023 (IFAPC). At the conference, which will take place in Dubai, it will be possible to make presentations in many areas of art and design in face-to-face, virtual and hybrid environments.
The International Contemporary Poster Design exhibition is also planned as an extension of the Conference to show and express creative thinking and idea at such an international conference. The International Contemporary Poster Exhibition will consist of 100 works in total. While some of the artists will be selected as invited by the world's respected poster designers, some will be selected due to the evaluation made by the jury members and open to everyone within the framework of the competition.
The subject of the International Contemporary Poster Design Exhibition; It is determined as “I Imagine...”. In order for the world to be more beautiful with the determined subject, designers will express their feelings and thoughts through the poster. Designers are expected to make original creative and aesthetic works within the framework of this issue.
About Poster Subject:
The world appears to be on the verge of a new era in terms of economic, social and political terms. Although this situation poses some threats (COVID-19 Outbreak, War, Economic Crisis and Effects), people communicate through information technologies, internet communication, and social media, which are positive developments in the name of dialogue and communication.
But at the time when we are going to enter 2023, some tensions affect the whole world. Local and regional problems now affect the people of the whole world; Problems such as hunger, famine, epidemic (COVID-19), migration, civil wars, occupations, and climate change threaten all countries and ultimately, humanity. We feel strongly as we feel all over the world that tensions in all fields sphere bring the world to the brink of new divisions and some new tensions.
For this reason, the task falls on the designers who have vision, dream and conscience. As designers, we believe that we can leave the world to future generations in every sense and continue a livable life. In this context, we want to express our dreams and the intellectuals that we foresee to be in our world under the title of “I Imagine...” with the language of visual design. With this exhibition, designers worldwide will express their most vital dreams and works with a visual manifesto in this exhibition to make a better world environment of happiness and life again. Now it's time to create and produce!
