As the "3D Printer Research Group," our research focuses on developing new and innovative filament materials for 3D printers based on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology. The primary mission of our group is to combine polymer science with 3D printing technology to produce high-performance and specialized filaments for both industrial and academic applications.

Our research areas include:

  • Improving mechanical, thermal, and processability properties through polymer modifications,
  • Developing functional filaments with antimicrobial, electrical conductivity, or radiopacity characteristics,
  • Conducting research on environmentally friendly and recyclable filament materials,
  • Creating filament solutions that enhance the mechanical performance of parts produced through FDM/FFF methods.

Our group continues its research to lead new material solutions in the 3D printing industry and to contribute to innovative studies in the academic world. We also aim to provide students and young researchers with knowledge and experience in this field.
