Halıcı Antarctic Research Group

 Antarctic research group is a group that conducts researches based on lichenized fungi biodiversity in Antarctica under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gökhan Halıcı. The team who contribute to national and international lichen biodiversity for years under the leadership of the group leader directed its studies to the white continent after Prof Dr Mehmet Gökhan Halıcı's participation in the first Turkish Antarctic science expedition and his journey to Antarctica in 2016.
