Özet

An oxygen acceptive catalyser Fe/FeO mixture was added to the high density polyethylene (HDPE) at different amounts and the stabilisation effects of this additive on the structure of HDPE was investigated. It was shown that the mechanical behaviour and the temperature stability of HDPE was significantly improved with the application of the additive. The experimental results were found to be accordance with analytical approaches.
