İlkokul müdürlerinin ders denetimlerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi (KKTC Örneği)

Özet

Bu araştırma, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’nde İlkokul müdürlerinin ders denetimlerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini değerlendirilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2015 – 2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Milli Eğitim ve Kültür Bakanlığı İlköğretim Dairesine bağlı devlet ilkokulunda görev yapan 1148 öğretmen ve özel ilkokulda görev yapan 424 öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 1572 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Tabakalı örnekleme yoluyla araştırmanın örneklemini, güven düzeyi % 95 ve hata payı %5 alınarak, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’nin beş ilçesinden devlet ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan 289 öğretmen ve özel ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan 202 öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 491 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma 497 öğretmen ile gerçekleşmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak Bilge (2014) tarafından hazırlanan “İlkokul müdürlerinin ders denetimlerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri” ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre; ilkokul müdürlerinin ders denetimine ilişkin öğretmenler görüşleri cinsiyet, okul türü, bölge, hizmet yılı ve denetim süresi değişkenlere göre incelenmiştir. Öğretmen görüşlerine göre; hem ölçek düzeyinde hem planlama, sınıf yönetimi ve iletişimi, sınıf içi etkinlikler ve öğrenciyi yönlendirme boyutlarında, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti devlet ve özel ilkokullarında müdürlerin denetimleri “biraz katılıyorum” düzeydedir. Ölçekte yer alan planlama, sınıf yönetimi ve iletişimi, sınıf içi etkinlikler ve öğrenciyi yönlendirme boyutunda da, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti ilkokullarında müdürlerin denetimlerine ilişkin görüşleri cinsiyet ve hizmet yılı açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark göstermez iken (p> ,05), okul türü, bölge ve denetim süresi değişkenleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark göstermiştir (p< ,05).

The aim of this research is to define and find out the teachers’ views about the classroom supervisions of primary school principals in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The population of this research consists of a total of 1572 teachers, 1148 teachers working in the state primary school and 424 teachers working in the private primary school that affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and Culture of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the Academic year of 2015-2016. By the sampling method, this research consists of 491 teachers in total, including 289 teachers working in the state primary schools and 202 teachers working in the private primary schools from five districts of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with a 95% confidence level and 5% significant value. This research was carried out with 497 teachers. In this research, “Teachers’ Opinions Towards Primary School Principal Supervision Evaluation Form” was used as a data collection which is being prepared by Esra Bilge in 2014 in Turkey. According to the findings of this research, the teachers’ views were examined on the variables of the gender, the school type, the places, the total years of the service and the time allocated for the classroom supervision of the school principals. According to the teachers’ views about the supervision of the principals in the public and private primary schools of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; both at the scale level and in the dimensions of planning, classroom management and communication, classroom activities and student orientation, is at the level of "I agree". In the dimensions of planning, classroom management and communication, classroom activities and student orientation in the scale, the teachers’ views about the supervision of the principals in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus do not show a statistically significant difference on the scale in terms of gender and years of service (p>,05). However, a significant relation has been found on the school type, places and the time allotted for the classroom supervision of the school principles (p<05).
