Many countries utilize fossil resources such as petroleum, coal and natural gas in order to meet their energy requirements. Due to intensive consumption of these kind of fuels, emissions give rise to environmental pollution and global warming. Moreover, as these energy resources have limited reserves, they have relatively short lifespan. As a result of oil crises, many countries have been in search of new energy resources and consequently they have focused on solar energy simply because it is environment-friendly and easily accessible. Recent developments in technology have revealed innovations in producing steam power from solar energy, which is a new trend among researchers in the domain of energy resources. High levels of heat is needed for energy production. Parabolic Reflector Vacuum Tube Solar Collectors are one of the primary components in the area to achieve this goal. In this study, we propose a new system which works with the principle of condensation of solar light reflected on the vacuum tube pipe that is located axially in the parabolic reflector center. The main components of system the reflector, vacuum tube pipe and the sun tracker mechanism- have been designed and appropriately mounted to Erciyes University Solar Center. The system was designed to work in both serial and parallel connections; the resulting energy was used in the floor heating system and it was analyzed according to solar data obtained from 2016 and 2017 in Kayseri. The results indicated that when the system was used in the serial connection mode, the average of the maximum collector efficiency was found to be 68.74%, and the level to meet the heat-loss by the floor heating system was 84.76%; when the system was used in the parallel connection mode the average of the maximum collector efficiency was found to be 61.50%, and the level to meet the heat-loss by the floor heating system was 74.75%.
