Some oribatid mites living in Uzunoluk forest (Erzurum) and microfungi isolated from them

Özet

In this study, it was investigated some oribatid mites living in Uzunoluk forest (Erzurum-Turkey) and the species of fungi isolated from the mites. From the field chosen as research area, thirteen oribatid mite species were identified. From these species, Hermannia (Hermannia) gibba, Carabodes (Flexa) intermedius, Poroliodes farinosus, Gymnodamaeus bicostatus, Suctobelbella (Suctobelbella) subtrigona, Oribatula (Oribatula) interrupta, Rhinoppia hygrophila and Liebstadia (Liebstadia) humerata are new for the Turkish Fauna. In addition, Liacarus (Liacarus) coracinus, Scheloribates (Scheloribates) pallidulus, Eupelops torulosus, Oribatula (Zygoribatula) exilis and Tectocepheus velatus were reported in this field for the first time. Electron microscope photographs of the identified mites were taken. In the study, their distinguishing properties were presented and their distribution all over the world was given.
