This research was carried out to determine the views of eighth grade students in Kayseri in the 2018-2019 about the processing of the Pressure unit within the scope of science course with STEM applications. In the study, qualitative research method and phenomenological design were preferred. Data diversity was made by using semi-structured interview, observation and document review in order to collect in-depth information and increase internal validity. After 30 students were observed by the researcher a document analysis form was applied to the students. After the interview of nine students, one third of them were above the average in science courses, one-third was below, and one-third was at the intermediate level in terms of grade point average. After the audio recordings with the consent of the participants were transcribed and content analysis was used by creating code, category, and theme in the analysis of the data. It was concluded that STEM applications provide convenience in terms of learning, as students perform applied learning by doing and experiencing, and provide permanent learning by improving students' psychomotor, communication and critical thinking skills. In addition, the academic success of the students increased and the integration of STEM applications into the lessons was beneficial.
