Abstract:Healing of chronic wounds is a major health problem throughout the world. With increasing use of antibiotics for bacterial colonization treatment the drug resistance problem arises. Effective strategies in the treatment of chronic wounds that do not respond to antibiotics, need to be identified and promote. Today Maggot Debridement Therapy used for this purpose is notable for its successful application activity. The worms are extracorporeal proteolytic digestion with trypsin and cleaning wounds with chymotrypsin-like enzymes. Also the elimination of drug-resistant pathogens is of great importance for the treatment of wounds. For the identification of compounds and mechanisms involved in the treatment it has to be investigated worm antibacterial characterization. Lucilia sericata larvae and eggs are produced in the liver commonly. Used and not used in a different environment than the liver fattening, how effective can be used, you lucifen the developing eggs and larvae in the environment and there is no detailed research on chymotrypsin expression levels. In this study the expression levels of developing Lucilia sericata in different nutritional medium are evaluated. Expression levels of lucifensin and chymotrypsin for brain tissue and beef tissue grown eggs and larvae were determined higher than others.
