Abstract:
The aim of the study is to examine the
relationship between the romantic relationships of high school female students
and their family ties and religiosity levels. The universe of the research was
determined as female students studying at secondary education level in Kayseri
province. The sample group of the study consists of 502 female students who
were reached by using simple random sampling method from among the students in Kayseri.
In this study, using the quantitative research method, the scales determined
were applied to these students and the data obtained were analyzed in the SPSS
v.23 program. Personal Information Form, Intimacy in Romantic Relationships,
Parental Attitude Scale, Three-Dimensional Attachment Scale and Restructured
Religious Orientation Scale were used in the study.
As a result of the analysis, a
significant relationship was found between individuals' attachment styles and
academic achievement, orientation to the opposite sex, level of intimacy in
romantic relationships, religious orientation and family attitudes. In
addition, a significant relationship was found between the level of intimacy in
romantic relationships and academic achievement, religious orientation and
family attitudes. At the same time, a significant relationship was found
between their religious orientation and their orientation to the opposite sex,
academic achievement and family attitudes. It has been observed that there is a
significant relationship between family attitudes, orientation to the opposite
sex and academic achievement variables.
