Özet

Bronchospasm is an anesthesia emergency that can lead to life-threatening respiratory and

cardiac complications. Rapid diagnosis and treatment are essential for successful patient

outcomes. Caused by exacerbation of underlying airway hyperreactivity (1). In the

perioperative period, bronchospasm occurs during anesthesia induction, but can be detected at

any stage of the anesthesia process. Risk factors; asthma, COPD, upper respiratory tract

infection - lower respiratory tract,history, history of atopy, and smoking (2). Our aim is to

present the management of bronchospasm that develops in the intraoperative period, which

has the potential to turn into an anesthetic disaster.
